Jon Snow

 Jon  Snow
Jon Snow has been the main presenter of Channel 4 News since 1989. he joined ITN in 1976. He has been awarded numerous awards in cluding the BAFTA Dimbleby Award for best factual contribution to TV in 2005 and Journalist of the year (RTS) in the same year. From 1970 to 1973 he was the Director of the new Horizon Youth Centre in the West End of London working with troubled homeless teenagers. He has been on the Board of New Horizon ever since, and the chair from 1986 to the present. He is deputy Chair of the Media Trust and a Trustee of both the Tate and National Galleries.
