Speaker Biography

Dr Mark J.P. Kerrigan

Mark works as an educationalist and scientist for the University of Greenwich as part of the EDU. He has led and worked on numerous educational grants, speaking at both national and international conferences. He leads on areas of professional development, mobile learning and curriculum design/enhancement where he specialises in assessment & feedback, digital literacies and working with students as change entrepreneurs. With responsibilities at the programme, a school and university level,

Mark’s work is focused on the strategic and evidence-based use of technology as part of the holistic HE experience. He is currently leading a national JISC funded project on Digital Literacies that aims to transform the development of graduate attributes. He is also currently leading the iPad in Science project as well as the Map My Programme initiative and is involved in the JISC funded MACE project. His work is focused on promoting good practice, supporting the student/staff experience and realising opportunities to deliver a vision of HE for the future.
