President of South Asian University since 2014, Kavita Sharma was previously principal of Delhi University’s Hindu College and director of the India International Centre, New Delhi. A Fulbright fellow, she received the Indira Gandhi Sadbhavna Award in 2005, and has been visiting lecturer at the Women’s Christian College, Tokyo, and the University of Indonesia.
