Fraser Woodward

 Fraser  Woodward
Fraser Woodward has been a committee member of the Association for Healthcare Communications and Marketing since 2006 and was appointed Chair last year. For the past two years he has been Communications Director at NHS Diabetes and Kidney Care – the national service improvement organisation working closely with the Department of Health to improve the care of people with diabetes and with kidney disease. The role also involves providing communications and marketing support to the NHS Health Check programme and the newly formed NHS Liver Care.

Prior to his current role, he was Head of Media and Corporate Affairs at the NHS Information Centre – the main provider of health statistics - for three years. Before that, he spent four years as Communications Manager for the National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE), working on some of their high profile public health guidance. Fraser has also spent time working in communications and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry and the voluntary sector.
