Professor Dzulkifli Abdul Razak

Professor Dzulkifli Abdul Razak is currently Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia, a position he has held since 2000. He also serves as Vice-President of the International Association of Universities, a UNESCO affiliated organisation. Professor Razak is a member of the Asia-Europe Meeting, the Education Hub Advisory Committee, the Executive Council of Association of Commonwealth Universities and the Advisory Committee of World Universities Forum.

Since 1995 he has served on the World Heath Organisation (WHO) Expert Advisory Panel on Drug Policies and Management as well as the WHO Scientific Advisory Committee on Tobacco Product Regulation from 2000-02. At a national level, he is the Chair of Malaysian Vice-Chancellors’/Rector’s Committee, Chair of Malaysian Examination Council and serves as Advisor to the National Higher Education Research Institute. He is also a Fellow of the Malaysia Academy of Science, and also the World Academy of Art and Science. From 2007-08 Professor Razak served as President of Association of Southeast Asia Institutions of Higher Learning.
