Peter Duxbury

 Peter Duxbury
Peter Duxbury was appointed as Director of Children’s Services for Lincolnshire in November 2005. This was a new post combining the formerly separate responsibilities for Education, Children’s Social Care and Youth Services. In addition the Director has responsibility for leading the Integration of Services for Children across all partner agencies across the County.

Peter Duxbury has more than 25 years of experience in work with children in statutory and voluntary organisations. He is a Psychology Graduate and has worked in fields of Child Care, Youth Crime, Child Protection and Education. He has a Diploma in Applied Social Science, Diploma in Management Studies and an MBA.

Prior to moving to Lincolnshire he was Assistant Executive Director with Liverpool City Council with responsibilities across Education and Social Care. Peter is a member of the ADCS Educational Achievement Policy Group and is the East Midlands Lead Director for Safeguarding and for Child Poverty.
