Now in its fifth year, The Informational City is a popular lecture series held during the London Design Festival in September each year, hosted by the London College of Communication [LCC], the largest constituent college of the University of the Arts London.
The lecture, by a leading thinker, policymaker or practitioner, presents developments and ideas in the intersection between the information revolution and global urbanisation. This year it will be delivered by Dame Judith Mayhew Jonas, the former leader of the City of London Corporation who, as chair of London Partners, now spearheads the capital’s efforts to build a productive partnership between city government and private sector stakeholders.
