Gaynor Glover
Gaynor has been at the University of Liverpool for the past 19 years, working first in International recruitment and Schools Liaison before moving into her current role where she is responsible for both undergraduate and postgraduate admissions. Before moving to Liverpool, Gaynor previously worked at the Universities of Keele and Surrey, so has wide experience of University administration in a range of contexts.
In her current role as Head of Admissions, Gaynor is responsible for developing admissions policies and has developed the University’s procedures on such issues as dealing with applicants declaring criminal convictions, plagiarism, care leavers and students who will be under 18 on registration. Over the past eighteen months she has been closely involved in developing Liverpool’s procedures to meet the requirements of the UK Border Agency for Tier 4 visas.
A graduate in German from the University of Leeds, Gaynor enjoys studying languages and encouraging others to discover the rewards of language learning.
