Claire Phillips was recently appointed to the post of Corporate Director for Commercial Transactions and Investment at Local Partnerships.

In her early career she trained as an architect and worked both for Glasgow City Council and Fife Regional Council before moving to West Lothian District Council where she was responsible for the capital and revenue investments in the education estate. She also led the Council's first schools PPP project. In 2002, Claire joined Partnerships UK where she led the organisation’s growing Scottish business.
