Before taking up his current role in 2013, Mr Murray was the Wall Street Journal’s deputy managing editor, national editor and foreign editor. He is also the author of two memoirs, The Father and the Son and Strong of Heart. He holds a BA and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.
