Professor Smith chairs the Graduate Prospects and Higher Education Careers Service Unit boards, and the Financial Sustainability Strategy Group for Higher Education. He also serves on national boards including the Higher Education Council for Wales, the Higher Education Funding Council for England’s Leadership, Governance and Management Committee, Universities UK strategy groups, the AQA Council and Jisc.
