Professor Osier is a Wellcome Trust intermediate fellow in public health and tropical medicine, and visiting professor at the University of Oxford. She became a member of the UK’s Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2003. In 2014, she won the Young African Scientist Award and the UK’s Royal Society Pfizer Award.
