William Hammonds is a policy researcher at Universities UK where he leads on the longer term strategy programme. His reports include Futures for higher education: analysing trends and Massive open online courses: higher education’s digital moment? Prior to joining UUK Will has worked in a variety of policy research and development roles in politics, local government and consultancy.

He has worked with a variety of UK and European organisations ranging from Arts Council England to the European Commission.

He is a graduate of the University of Exeter and the LSE and is a doctoral researcher at the department of government at the University of Essex.
