Sue Gascoyne

 Sue Gascoyne
Sue Gascoyne is a published author, Early Year’s researcher, educational consultant and trainer. She provides training, workshops and key note presentations nationally and internationally with a focus on sensory play and education.

In 2006 she launched multi-award winning children’s play resource company Play to Z Ltd and maintains an active role as creative director. Sue writes regularly in the national press and in addition to her contribution to an international book, is the author of Sensory Play, published in September 2011 and revised 2013 (Practical Pre-School) and Treasure Baskets and Beyond – Realising the benefits of sensory rich play (Open University), August 2012. These publications and her training draw heavily upon original and contemporary research funded and instigated by Sue.

In 2009, Sue was named Nursery World 'Trainer of the Year' for her contribution to the Early Year’s sector. A former Primary School Governor, mother of two young children and trainee Play Therapist, much of Sue’s work is inspired by observations of children’s play.
