Heather O’Meara is Chief Executive of NHS Redbridge. She is one of six NHS Chief Executives who have been appointed as sector chief executives to help strengthen Acute Commissioning across the capital.

She has also played a major role in the development of polyclinics/polysystems across the capital.

Heather has worked within the Health Service for over 25 years, her career spanning both acute hospital trusts and primary care trusts. She has a wide experience of all aspects of healthcare, both as a clinician and manager.
