Christine Doubleday

 Christine Doubleday
Christine manages stakeholder relations alongside the Executive Director. Christine’s work focuses on localism and promoting Further Education’s role in meeting the needs of communities and employers locally, regionally and nationally.

Christine has been involved in teaching and management within the learning and skills sector for over 30 years. Originally a tutor in adult education, she went on to establish the Open College Network in Oxfordshire. She spent several years as an Area Director for the Learning and Skills Council, where she was responsible for ensuring a place wide response to the needs of learners, employers and the community.

Christine holds a BA in Social Studies, MEd in Management of Adult Education and a Postgraduate Professional Diploma in Careers Guidance.
