Elizabeth Halford is currently Head of Research, Information and Enquiry at QAA.

Prior to joining the Agency in April 2012, she had a career in higher education, as a senior lecturer, Head of Teacher Education, and latterly as Head of Validation and Review at a University.

She holds a Doctorate in Education from the Institute of Education, University of London, and her research interests are in the field of higher education policy.
