Mark Lyonette has been with the Association of British Credit Unions Limited (ABCUL) for fourteen years; the last seven of them as Chief Executive. He has played a leading role in developing ABCUL into a full service trade association for British credit unions. He is also the Chief Executive of Cornerstone Mutual Services, a member controlled subsidiary of ABCUL which is at the centre of ABCUL’s Shared Business Model Project.

Mark was a member of the UK Government’s Financial Inclusion Taskforce from 2004 until it ended in 2011 and has represented the credit union sector on various other groups.
