Almira Cemmell
Almira is a Director, FTI Consulting, chairs an advisory board at the Open Society Institute and is a trustee of Future Brilliance, a charity that provides vocational education in India and Afghanistan.
She was one of the early members of the Serbian Student Union (the anti-Milosevic student movement) which she was elected to co-run in the early 2000s.
She started her career at the Serbian Parliament, for the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe and worked in the Serbian Ministry of Finance. She headed up the Natural Resources Department at Global Witness, an international NGO investigating corruption in the extractive industries. Wilton Park (the UK FCO) selected Almira as one of the British Young Leaders (2011), World Economic Forum named her a Young Global Leader in 2013.
