Anne Longfield CBE
Anne Longfield OBE is the Chief Executive of 4Children and has worked in the field of children and family policy and services for 25 years. She has written and led numerous campaigns, research and publications, including a number of high profile inquires and Commissions.
Anne is a leading figure in the field and is a member of a wide range of national Boards, including the current Ministry of Justice’s Youth Citizenship Commission and the third sector investment organisation Futurebuilders. She works closely with a range of Government Departments, which has included a period of secondment to the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit at the Cabinet Office.
Under Anne’s leadership, 4Children has grown to become an award winning charity for change, shaping and delivering solutions for children and families nationally and in local areas. Anne received the OBE in recognition of her contribution in the millennium honours and has a 16-year-old son.
