Martin Kemp

Martin spent 12 years spent in the Royal Air Force working in Air Traffic Control, and a short period working in the private sector before joining joining the Ambulance Service to deliver Non Emergency Patient Transport Services to Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge in 1997, a role which require co-coordinating Outpatients transport from across the East Anglia region via Volunteer car drivers to Stretcher transport.

Following a further spell working in Kings Lynn, he left the ambulance service in 2007 to manage the transport delivery of Social Service and Community transport behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council. An internal review merged Education and Social Services Teams in 2011 where he works across both areas in transport delivery.

Martin joined ATCO in 2008 representing his authority in specialist transport, before becoming regional chair in 2009, and national chair in 2011.
