Jeremy Burden
Jeremy has joined the SLCSU as Interim Director of Contracting and Performance and Deputy Managing Director with an excellent track record of delivery in acute contracting, performance management and improvement at PCT and pan London level. He has a successful history of over 15 years’ experience operating as a Board-level Director in both the NHS and the housing sector, including 11 years working either in or with South London. Jeremy’s most recent NHS experience includes holding the post of Director of Contracts for NHS North Central London where he was responsible for negotiating, managing and delivering contracts with the NHS and non NHS providers covering acute, mental health and community services worth £1,094m.
He has also held the position of Deputy Director of Performance for NHS London and Director of Strategic Commissioning, Tower Hamlets PCT. His non-NHS experience includes holding the position of Non-Executive Director of Toynbee Housing Association where he was chair of the Performance Committee.
In additional to his leadership skills and extensive contract negotiating experience; Jeremy brings with him a passion for developing a customer service and culture within the CSU.
