Inspector David Derrick
David Derrick has worked at Sussex Police for 17 years and currently at the rank of Inspector. David has worked in Hate Crime for several of those years and lectured nationally and internationally on Hate Crime related matters.
In 2010 he lectured for the US Government in South America on issues relating to the damage caused by crimes committed against vulnerable parts of our communities and how statutory services can develop relationships with under represented parts of society.
David currently works in Protecting Vulnerable People Branch and had a portfolio including Hate Crime / Adult protection / Missing People and Human Trafficking.
