Jim Robinson heads the social impact bonds team at the Cabinet Office, seeking to promote their development in local and central government. He has led an ambitious project with four local authorities to explore the applicability of social impact bonds to troubled families.

Previously, he led work on an ambitious Government strategy for growing the social investment market, and played a key role in designing social investment wholesaler Big Society Capital, launched in April 2012.
