Michael is Director of Finance at NHS Brighton & Hove City.

Michael joined the NHS in 1983 after working in accountancy practice and commerce. He is a qualified accountant and also has a degree in Health Information Science for Health Services Management. His NHS career has included being director of finance at two acute trusts as well as senior positions in commissioning organisations. He became Director of Finance for Brighton and Hove Primary Care Trust when it was formed in April 2002.
