Ollie Clarke is a Team Leader in the Adoption and Children in Care strategy team at the Department for Education.

He helped to develop the Adoption Action Plan published in March 2012, and had particular responsibility for developing the proposals for an adoption scorecard as part of a strengthened accountability regime.

Since then he has been helping to manage the implementation of the Action Plan and develop further reform proposals to help ensure that all children for whom adoption is the best option can be placed with loving and capable adoptive families without unnecessary delay.

He has previously worked in other roles in the Department for Education.
