Jessica Stubbings

Jessica has worked for East Sussex County Council for more than three years and has a key role in developing partnerships and provision to deliver improved outcomes for learners, working closely with schools and colleges.

Jessica leads on developing and implementing the strategies for reducing the number of young people that are not in education, employment or training, this includes leading on CE IAG, managing the Connexions service and preparing the Council and its partners for the implementation of Raising the Participation Age (RPA).

In 2010 Jessica was appointed as a Local Leader by the DfE to support other local authorities for RPA.

Jessica started her career in higher education and has worked for the University of London Careers Service, the International Study Centre at Herstmonceux Castle and more recently for the Learning and Skills Council as a Partnership Manager.
