Debbie Mellor
Debbie has held a wide variety of roles in the Department and across the Workforce Directorate. In her previous role as Deputy Director - Workforce Capacity, she has led on strategic Human Resources programmes, including the development of the Centre of Workforce Intelligence.
Her portfolio now includes responsibility for the design and implementation of a new framework for planning and developing the workforce in response to the White Paper Equity and Excellence: Liberating the NHS.
Debbie led the development of Liberating the NHS: Developing the Healthcare Workforce - From Design to Delivery, which was published on 10 January she is now engaged in establishing the new organisation Health Education England as a Special Health Authority by June 2012 and the legislative framework for the new Education & Training system.
Debbie is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personal Development.
