Andrea Lawrie is a student member of the RCM, She was keen to learn more about the work and the ways in which the RCM provide support to students. When she learnt of the SMWG it seemed an ideal way for me to access this support whilst at the same time, discuss the ideas and issues that we face as student midwives. By doing this, my hope is that the RCM will use our voice to inform change.

The SMWG is a great source of inspiration to me and a wonderful way in which she and the students she represents can network with each other at national level, widening and strengthening the community that we are part of.
