Darryl has over 20 years experience in the Civil Service, gained in five government departments. He worked closely with ministers, serving as Principal Private Secretary, Deputy Head of the Government Whips Office (Lords) and as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Cabinet Office.

He was Programme Director at the National School of Government where he was responsible for political and policy training for UK Diplomats, development for staff in Ministerial Private Offices and was Principal Tutor on Ministerial Development and Legislative training programmes. He has provided consultancy and training widely in the UK and for overseas Governments and Parliaments.
