Alison Shreeve

 Alison Shreeve
Alison Shreeve is Head of School, Design, Craft and Visual Arts at Buckinghamshire New University. Between 2005 - 2010 she was the Director of Creative Learning in Practice Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CLIP CETL) at the University of the Arts London. The centre was one of 74 CETLs which were designed to raise the profile of teaching and learning in Higher Education in England.

A teacher in embroidered textiles for over 25 years, Alison has a Masters in Art Education and a PhD in Educational Research from Lancaster University. Research interests include the student and tutor experience in creative arts higher education. She has published articles in international journals and contributed to books relating to the HE sector. She is associate editor of the journal Art, Design and Communication in Higher Education and a National Teaching Fellow.
