Katherine Latta

Katherine Latta is the Coordinator of the ECVET National Contact Point for England, which is responsible for advising in England on implementing the European credit system for vocational education and training (ECVET), a credit transfer system for vocational education and training which facilitates the accumulation and recognition of learning outcomes achieved in formal, informal and non-formal settings across Europe. Ms Latta is also the Coordinator of the UK National Contact Point for Professional Qualifications (UK NCP), the contact point for Directive 2005/36/EC on professional qualifications in the UK. The ECVET NCP for England and UK NCP are managed by ECCTIS Ltd. ECCTIS also manages the National Recognition Information Centre for the UK, UK NARIC, which is responsible for providing comparison information on overseas education systems and qualifications.
Ms Latta has a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and a Master’s degree in Behavioural Economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Her previous work was in international security management.
