Property Advisor, CIPFA.

As a CIPFA Property Advisor, Jane provides training, consultancy advice and support to numerous public sector bodies in the development and implementation of good practice in the field of asset management and the effective use of public sector assets. With over 25 years’ experience in public sector property management and the property industry, Jane is well versed in the issues faced in delivering efficiencies through strategic property asset management in an ever changing financial and cultural environment. Innovative use of public sector assets in the delivery of public services brings real challenges particularly when involving community and third sector groups, and as CIPFA’s representative on the Asset Transfer Unit’s Stakeholder Forum, Jane has been actively involved in the development of guidance and support around community asset transfer. She joined CIPFA from NPS Property Consultants Ltd, a national trading company wholly owned by the public sector that grew out of a business unit within a local authority.
