Andrew Mackie is an independent public financial management advisor to governments and development agencies on financial management and institutional reforms in developing and transition economies in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Prior to starting his own consultancy practice in 2002 he has was a manager at the World Bank in Washington DC and, before that a partner in public accounting practice. Andrew is currently preparing a stock take of PFM Diagnostic Tools for the OECD/DAC PFM Task Force and a PEFA Impact Study for the PEFA Secretariat. He has been an assessor on a number of PEFA Assessments.
