Mark Ellis
Mark is the programme manager for the Triple Science Support Programme, a DfE funded initiative designed to encourage more schools to offer Triple Science GCSEs.
Mark has a wide experience in the planning and delivery of Science, Conservation, Health and Social Care, Sports Science, Outdoor Pursuits and Horticulture. He has worked for a variety of Awarding Bodies over the years and has written biotechnology units for vocational science courses. He has extensive experience in the delivery of science at key-stage 4, A-levels in biology, chemistry and environmental science and various vocational science courses. Mark also managed the transition to Curriculum 2000 with a team of 15 science specialists and has designed and implemented the delivery of numerous specifications over the years. Based on this experience and his work as a moderator with OCR on VCE Science courses, he wrote part of the current A2 for the OCR applied Science course.
