Zoe Knight is Senior Director of Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) research at Merrill Lynch, based in London.

She joined the firm in June 2003 as a Small and Midcap strategist before becoming involved with SRI research in January 2007. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, she has worked in telecoms and Smallcap research with UBS.

Ms Knight’s work primarily focuses on building the SRI franchise for Merrill Lynch by producing thematic reports on issues surrounding socially responsible investing. She has recently published in-depth reports on climate change, the implications of the G8 conference in Heiligendamn, the impact of land scarcity to the food chain, and analysis of companies using carbon footprints. She is also a member of the Merrill Lynch Sustainable Banking Committee.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics from the University of Bath during which time she worked in economic research at JP Morgan in Frankfurt for a year.
