Mick May, Chief Executive, Blue Sky Development and Regeneration
Mick May is the Founder and Chief Executive of Blue Sky, a social enterprise, which takes its name and inspiration from the Ballad of Reading Gaol. In David Cameron's words: "it's the only company in the country where you need a criminal record to work there."
Mick came to the voluntary sector in 2003, when he was appointed Executive Director of community-based regeneration charity Groundwork Thames Valley. This followed 20 years in the financial services industry, culminating in board-level positions in both the banking and asset management sectors.
