Helen Dawson, Director, Move On East
Helen Dawson has over 25 years experience in the Home Office and Ministry of Justice, including operational prison governor positions in both men’s and women’s prisons and commercial competitions for delivery of prison services.

Her most recent role as Business Development Manager for Norfolk Criminal Justice Board has given her a deep understanding of the criminal justice system in its entirety and of its partner agencies. She has been instrumental in initiating multi-agency projects in Norfolk that aim to reduce reoffending. Helen has extensive experience of working with offenders and is strongly committed to resettlement and rehabilitation.

In 2002/3, Helen took a career break to volunteer as deputy leader of two Raleigh International expeditions in Namibia and Borneo, developing team building and leadership skills in young people.
