Mark Nickson, Project Lead, NOMS Co-Financing Organisation

Since March 2009 Mark has been the head of the NOMS Co Financing Organisation (NOMS CFO). NOMS CFO provides front line resettlement interventions to offenders in custody and in the community across England. Using European Social Fund money, NOMS CFO aims to address the needs of the hard to reach groups within offenders who often are unable to access mainstream provision. The project is running in two phases CFO1 (Jan 2010 – Dec 2011) and CFO2 (Jan 2011 – Dec 2014).

Before working on the NOMS CFO project Mark was the Director of Business Services for the PS Plus project, the forerunner of NOM CFO. PS Plus ran in 40 prisons and 15 probation areas across England.

Prior to moving to NOMS Mark was an ICT consultant working in diverse industries such as the financial sector, the manufacturing sector and the agricultural industry.
