Jane Kettle

Jane Kettle is Senior Adviser, Employability and Employee Learning at the Higher Education Academy, leading trans-university projects and liaising with funding and quality agencies to ensure the HEI sector in the UK responds to national priorities relating to workforce development and employee-responsive provision. Current and recent projects include a review of the quality assurance implications of developing and delivering employer-responsive provision, and addressing the employer engagement aspects of the National HE STEM project.

She manages the Academy’s Employer Engagement Stakeholder group, a forum of agencies and employers who have an interest in and wish to develop good practice in workforce development. Her academic background is in Planning and Housing, and she was previously Associate Dean Arts and Society, and Head of the School of the Built Environment at Leeds Metropolitan University.
