Adenike Ogunyemi

Adenike Ogunyemi, Senior Midwife, New Midwifery Helpline, Newham University Hospital

Adenike Ogunyemi, RN, RM, is a 2002 graduate from Buckinghamshire Chiltern University College with a Higher Diploma in Nursing. She worked for one year as an Acute Renal Nurse at Freeman Hospital Newcastle Upon Tyne, and in 2005 graduated from City University London with a BSc in Midwifery. Since Midwifery Qualification has Adenike worked at Newham University Hospital providing continuous uncompromised antenatal, intra-partum and postnatal care within the Trust. In 2008 she was seconded to work as the Practice Development Midwife and in May 2010 she took up the role as Newham Maternity Helpline Midwife providing similar service as NHS Direct but exclusive maternity advice and information to women and their families via telephone or e-mail.
