Katherine Tadman, Community Midwife, Medway NHS Foundation Trust

Katherine Tadman qualified as a nurse in 1981 and completed her midwifery training in 1984. She has worked since then for Medway NHS Trust working nights on delivery suite whilst her three children were growing up , and for the past 11 years as a community midwife in Strood. She helped to develop the Earlybird booking system which she and Kim Tyler presented at conference last year. Her passion is developing the service s offered to her women including antenatal education through the Children’s Centres.
