Dr Russ Clark, Head of Careers Service, University of Surrey

Following a brief career as a research pharmacologist, Russ joined the University of London as a careers adviser in 1979. Throughout the following 15 years, he managed the Careers Services at Imperial College, Kings College, and a number of other London institutions. He moved to take up a position as Head of the Careers Service at the University of Surrey in 1993. Russ is heavily involved in assisting students with work-related placements, which form a significant part of the undergraduate programme at Surrey.
