The vital role that Sure Start children's centres play in improving the outcomes for some of the most disadvantaged families in the UK is well documented. But whilst public support has never been stronger, so too are the pressures of new legislation in tough financial times.
As ever, the Sure Start Conference continues to be the essential event for all children's centre leaders and local authority officers, equipping attendees with the most up to the minute policy and best practice guidance.
