Kevin Jarrold

Kevin is Programme Director for NHS London Programme for IT in addition to being Chief Information Officer for NHS London (Strategic Health Authority). He is a graduate of Oxford University and the London School of Economics and has over 20 years experience in health service information and IT. He has held a variety of roles at health authority and trust level. He spent 8 years as IT director at a large acute trust in the North East. He then moved to the West Midlands as Regional Head of Information in the Regional Office of the Department of Health. Before moving to the National Programme for IT in November 2005, he spent four years at University College London Hospitals which is one of the countries premier teaching hospitals. During his time there he was project director for a £75m IT investment programme associated with the opening of the new £422m University College Hospital.
