Fiona Narburgh

Fiona Narburgh is Head of Strategy and Communications at Wychavon in Worcestershire where she’s the enthusiastic improvement driver on the management team. Residents rate the council as one of the best in the country as do staff in the Times Best Public sector survey. Success is very much down to the clear strategy (on one page!) and open styles of communication that Fiona helps champion to build pride and get the best out of people.

Fiona’s got into making films. ‘Thank Goodness it’s Monday! www.bit.ly/tgim’ has motivated organisations up and down the country on workplace engagement. ‘Get a coach!’ sells the benefits of coaching for performance.

Fiona has just led the work to set out the LGA and LG Communications New Reputation Guide. She runs her own freelance consultancy with tools like the Reputation MOT helping organisations improve. She’s a qualified coach and loves to help people on their journey.

Her first job was planting trees with young offenders for Worcestershire County Council.
