Francesc Aragall
President, Design For All Foundation
Francesc has developed his career in the world of ergonomics, biomechanics, accessibility, and is now President of Design for All, a concept which has been spread throughout Europe through the European Institute for Design and Disability (EIDD).
During construction period for the 1992 Olympic Games, he was responsible for urban accessibility, transport, and technical assistance of the Barcelona City Council and in 1993 he assumed management of the Consorci de Recursos i Documentació per a l’Autonomia Personal (CRID), (Resources and Documentation Consortium for Personal Autonomy). He was member and advisor of the 'Council for the Promotion of Accessibility and Suppression of Physical Barriers' of the Catalan government from 2004 to 2006.
