Speaker Biography

Clive Lissaman

Clive Lissaman is the 14-19 Education Business Manager for Skillset. Other positions of responsibility include: Chair for Creativity and Arts – Council for Learning Outside the Classroom and Chair – London Creative and Media Network.

On joining Skillset in 2006 Clive worked extensively with schools, colleges and employers to develop innovative projects that enabled students to gain insight into the creative industries. These pilot projects were used to inform the development of the Diploma in Creative and Media.

Clive contributes to all aspects of the Diploma Development Partnership, but specialises in the development of collaborative models that enable employers from across the creative industries to support the delivery of work-related learning. He works closely with Clive Jones CBE, DDP Chair, and manages the Industry Steering Group whose members include Channel 4, Arts Council England and The Press Association.

Prior to this Clive was a teacher and college manager at City of Westminster College working across a range of creative vocational qualifications for 14-19 year olds.
