Speaker Biography

Julie Kerry

Julie Kerry is a qualified Psychiatric and Community Nurse (RMN, CPN) and has a wide range of recent experience of operational and strategic delivery. She has held a number of clinical, operational and strategic roles with NHS, working within provider services, the Strategic Health Authority, Housing and the Third Sector.

She has a track record of delivering improvements in quality, effectiveness, experience and productivity within mental health, dementia and learning disability commissioning and service delivery.

Julie currently works for NHS England Thames Valley Area Team as Associate Director of Nursing, with responsibility for Patient Experience, Safeguarding and is also the South of England Regional mental health homicide lead.

Her core principles and values are underpinned by her professional nursing background and include; Inclusion - Keeping the service user at the centre of all we do; Improving access and equality for vulnerable groups and Working in partnership to deliver better outcomes.
