Siân Sankey

 Siân Sankey
Siân Sankey joined the Chartered Institute of Housing as Policy Manager in 2011 where she is responsible for a wide range of topic areas but specifically focusing on planning, Localism and the private rented sector.

She provides research and policy analysis of current/future housing debates to support the organisation and housing professionals in their roles.

Siân has worked in research and policy environments for the last 11 years, more recently for the Commission for the Compact on the relationship between the voluntary and community sector and government.

She has extensive experience in housing policy and research in particular focusing on tenant and resident engagement; Gypsy and Traveller planning and accommodation provision; partnership working and the role of housing in a wider social context.
